Our Values
LUST Competition is born with a clear intention:
-
honouring the origins of pole dance and pole heels
-
without glamorising the job of str!pper
-
creating a respectful and inclusive space for the entire community of pole heels dancers
The idea is not to judge or to fantasize. It is:
-
acknowledging the culture and the roots
-
offering an informed and guided path between these two radically opposed visions
-
providing a space to challenge yourself
-
allowing everyone to express, discover and experiment the safest way possible
Working to find an inbetween stigmatisation and glamorisation.
For that we established the Safer Place Agreement & Some SW Supportive Rules.

How judging works
Every performance is scored based on the same 4 criteria from 0 to 10. Each category has one dominant criterion that counts for 40% of the final score, while the other three count for 20% each. A Head Judge system ensures consistency and fairness, and no public ranking is ever published: each finalist receives their detailed scores privately.

Competition Levels
In order to include all experience levels, LUST distinguishes between amateur performers (Baby) and experienced performers (Experienced). Levels must be carefully self-assessed by applicants based on the criteria below.

* This information will be collected on the basis of participants' good faith, but may be verified. Should an application have been submitted under the wrong level, the participant will be reassigned to the appropriate level.
Per category, the selection will include: 3 Baby finalists and 5 Experienced finalists, chosen on the basis of video applications and the following additional criteria: a minimum of 12 Belgian performers across the full competition, and a minimum of 2 sex workers per category.
